The Canadian Immigration Authorities charge the following type of fees:

• VISA processing Fee

• Right of Landing Fee

VISA PROCESSING FEE:

• Independent and Family Class Categories - Cdn$ 550                          (principal applicant and adults above 22 years)

• Business Category-principal Applicant- Cdn $1050

• All categories-minors (below 22 years) - Cdn $ 150

RIGHT OF LANDING FEE: 

Applicable to all categories of applicants -Cdn $975                                         (over the age of 22 years)

METHOD OF PAYMENT:

• The Visa Processing fee should be paid in the form of a bank draft, at the time of filing the case to the Immigration Authorities.

• The Right of Landing Fee may be paid at the time of submission of the application or at any point during the application process.

• The Right of Landing Fee is refundable if the application is rejected.

• The Visa Processing Fee is non-refundable.

The Visa processing fee & the Right of Landing Fee are also payable in other foreign currencies at the exchange rate fixed by Immigration Authorities.

If the principal applicant decides to file only his/ her case at first & not pay the Visa Processing and Right of Landing fee for the remaining family members, he/she is entitled to sponsor the remaining family members only after landing in Canada, after the payment of the said fees at that time.
