Throughout  Canada's  history,  millions of immigrants  have helped to build this country. Canada is a land of many cultures. The liberal immigration policy of the Govt. has made Canada a land of immigrants. The Govt. encourages the immigrants to  retain  their own culture too, along  with adopting the local Canadian Culture. 
It supports ethnic  cultural  organizations  to conduct language & cultural classes 
for the children of their community to remember their country of origin.

In a country as large as Canada, the  idea of equality & freedom is very important. The value of this idea has been incorporated into the Canadian Constitution as the "CANADIAN CHARTER OF RIGHTS & FREEDOM".

Even  a  landed  immigrant  has the freedom to purchase property immediately on landing here, which no other country allows.

That Canadian Govt.  is  committed  to  sustainable development  but not at the expense of environment. The Govt. is  very committed to the mental  &  physical health of its  children.  Appropriate  child development  is utmost important here.

 At the same time, newcomers influence Canada and  our collective identity. We may have differences, but we share many important qualities that strengthen our society. Optimism. Canada is a dynamic and democratic country. Canadians work 
to improve their lives and society. Some people face greater hardship than others, but  most  Canadians  have  faith  and  hope  for  the  future.  Compromise  and Cooperation, Most Canadians understand the value of compromise. In a country as large and diverse as Canada, people must be able to ignore small conflicts in order to live happily and peacefully.
